Re: The 'First' Composite?
Hi I am new here!
Remember, Z made a point of saying he looked "different" when he was "doing his thing"...perhaps he forgot make his usual changes early on, and was more consistent later??
If he was, for example a threatre techie or some such, he might have had a lot of things to make subtle changes to his face, tec. with at his disposal...even if he were just interested in theatre, which he obviously was, and purchased things at a local theatrical shop...

Isn't it very difficult to see wearing someone else's prescription glasses? I don't see why he wouldn't have been wearing his own glasses and just took Paul's along with the other souvenirs.

Hard to say for sure. Some have argued that Z must have had good vision (and didn't wear glasses) because of his good aim in dark places like LHR.
Paul wore those dark horn rimmed glasses and they were never recovered for the cab (from what i've always heard). Z might have grabbed them for added disguise.

I just can't accept someone with good eyesight putting on Stine's glasses as a disguise. I've tried wearing the old lady's pre-scripted glasses and it was difficult to walk a few metres without tripping over in broad daylight let alone on a city street at night.

Remember, in the late 1960's/early 1970's....that style of glasses frames was very common....just about every guy who wore glasses had those....So, it could easily have been the case that both Z and Paul had similar glasses. We do not know if Paul's glasses were ever recovered, or if they are sitting in an evidence room somewhere, or if they were given to his wife after being dusted for prints, etc.
Oh, while I am here, I know Paul's widow (worked with her for several years), and am a refugee from Voigt's site; he continues to be very nasty and intrusive to the Stine family, and wanted to get a hold of her too to bug her (I never gave him ANY info.). He was also nasty towards Paul Stine as a person, making ridiculous assertions about him that are totally untrue.
Just thought I would let folks know.

Would you be able to ask Paul's wife about the glasses?

No, not because I want to be rude to you or to anyone else, but over many years I have just let her tell me or say what she wants to say when she wants to say it, and I have not actually asked her anything about her husband's murder because this is still very painful for her. She never remarried and still wears her original custom-made gold wedding band; she never took it off, ever.

Hi Zabagliona, interesting info. Thanks for sharing! Curious what years did you worked with Claudia? Thanks, Zamantha*
