Here's the link to AK's solution of the 340 (the link above was to the Mt. Diablo Code):

Enjoy, it makes no sense at all.

Thanks for the correction there.

Yikes! That may be one of the worst website layouts ever, but I guess it does deserve some credit for creativity.
Re: "Proposed" 340 cipher solutions
What I find most interesting about these proposed solutions are the motivations of their creators. On the one hand, some of them are posted to forums, blogs or webpages and presented in a way such as "hey, here is a possibility I've come up with, is it a valid approach?" Clearly, there is nothing wrong with this. It's how ideas get vetted and discussed.
On the other hand, some are presented as "hey I've solved the 340 and it's 100% accurate!" This is probably the worst way to go about things. People who do this should expect scrutiny. As Carl Sagan said "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."
In the middle, some solutions are presented as "I believe it to be correct, but am open to ideas." This is reasonable as well.
And finally, though I hate to say it, some of them are just preposterous and insane. Not much I can say about those, comes with the Zodiac territory I suppose.
But overall, I think it's important to give a careful look at any proposed solution that does come along, even though it can be easy to tire of them. People come in all types, and present things in many ways, and who knows, maybe one day, one of the solutions may be correct. I don't think it will look like any of the above, however.

Wow... at least Farmer's solution doesn't cause the reader to have seizures. Can I change my vote for worst 340 solution?
Re: "Proposed" 340 cipher solutions
And let's not forget the wonderful binary/morse "solutions" proposed by Penn and perpetuated by Grant.
Sorry... can't find it in me to post a link.

I kept scrolling and scrolling until I reached the deep recesses of Catseye's mind. I've been staring blankly into space and drooling ever since. Someone help me!

Wow Zs... it's like staring at Medusa. Your brain has turned to stone. Farewell.
Re: "Proposed" 340 cipher solutions
I never even found her "solution," I got tired of scrolling and looking. Is there really one there???
