Unfortunately, Lafferty's nonsense is making the rounds in the media. Here are links to a few stories about Lafferty, his theory and his book.

According to an article posted at the website http://www.news10.net, Lyndon Lafferty's suspect has been dead since February 2, 2012. Known by many people as "Andrew Todd Walker" (the pseudonym used by ZODIAC author Robert Graysmith), the suspect apparently died after falling and breaking his neck. "Walker" was 91 years old and had been the subject of Zodiac suspicions since as far back as 1970. Writer George Warren stated that Lafferty was surprised to hear that his suspect had died, and Lafferty lamented the fact that his newly-published book would not provoke a confession from Walker. However, Lafferty also stated that he would now be free to present even more evidence in public since he no longer had to worry about being sued. I won't be holding my breath or waiting for Lafferty's coming "evidence," and I'm sure that I'm not the only one who shares that sentiment...

Pam Huckaby, sister of Zodiac victim Darlene Ferrin, was interviewed for a news story. According to that report, Pam is now "absolutely certain" that Lyndon Lafferty's suspect "Andrew Todd Walker" was the sinister stranger who allegedly stalked Darlene in the months before her murder. In his new book THE ZODIAC KILLER COVER-UP, Lafferty claims that Pam betrayed his trust and destroyed 32 years of investigation, possible grand jury indictments and possible prosecution of the suspect by the Department of Justice.

It's odd that the article posted above two days ago originally said Walker died on February 5th, not the second. I looked into it and couldn't find anything about it other than that article until the SF Chron reported the story yesterday with the feb. 2 date.

it's a ...wait for it... COVER UP!

And the nonsense continues to spread like an unstoppable virus. Now, Lyndon Lafferty has officially hit the big time with a new blurb at the website for the National Enquirer. The headline seems even more absurd given that the suspect was already dead.

Unstoppable Virus is right. No longer is any kind of Fact Checking going on. If it sounds good, and will draw readers, run with it!

And how many 'stalkers' is that for Pam now?
Half a dozen?

Hello! In an attempt at following Mike's 'Headline' link I get "The content of this website is not available in your area. "
Perhaps the UK Government have censored it. Let's hope so.
