I've just been arguing with Catseye about DK's 'smoking gun' photo, and frankly, this is exactly why this case has never been solved. I'ts obvious to me that the photo which is apparently 'undeniable proof' is very sketchy at best, and clearly not what i would want to base a conviction on if i was a prosecutor. The fact that ppl are so easily convinced of what they 'think' they are looking at when their heart wants them to see things, only tends to further and spread the poison from place to place.

Let's call a spade a spade. If this is what we call a smoking gun, has anyone checked where Roger Ramjet was on the dates in question?? I mean, he's a heavy set guy who was in the service....

I'm grateful that in society we have reasonable doubt to protect innocent ppl from just this type of collateral damage. If we are going to view things with blinkers on, this case will still be unsolved in another 40 years. I'm also thankful that ppl like Catseye don't sit on the bench, and that I don't look like Z, or who knows if I'd ever get a fair trial...

Speedy, I know you're probably not aware, but it's recently come out that Catseye is...troubled. I'd refrain from arguing with her, as it won't do any good. You're trying to reason with someone who hasn't the mental ability to do so. I say this not as a joke or insult. Her sister has confirmed this on Chris Yarbrough's board. I hope she get's some help. It's one thing if the offender is just a drooling gadfly but when they are actually significantly mentally diminished I can't help but feel sympathetic.

Yarb's site is good, and I love its purpose...it's basically the same purpose as here, just directed singularly at Dennis and his garbage.

As for Catseye, I wasn't aware either until I started peeking around his site. It was obvious that something wasn't right, but it's certainly sad when your jokes are confirmed as fact. I spoke to Catseye's sister and expressed my sympathy, even though I admittedly can't claim innocence in bashing Catseye in the past. It's a shame that she's being used as a pawn by Kaufman and Barto even though they both are fully aware of her condition.

To Yarb's credit, he has suspended discussions and threads on his board that directly involve Catseye, a wonderful show of class and compassion. It's also another reminder of just who the good guys are here.

EDIT: Speedy, I just wanted to be sure you knew I wasn't trying to chastise you or anything like that. None of us knew what the real deal was here.

I suspended my discussion about Catseye here for the same reason about two months ago. I made my first post about her since then a few days ago because she was portraying this board in a bad light and was saying things that weren't true.

Yeah, I've heard about that. She's really bought into everything Dennis and Nanette say and just can't see that we're just pointing out facts. As Johnny said, I just hope she somehow gets the help she needs.

On a lighter note, I thought it was funny that they think Tom Voigt and Chris Yarbrough are the same person. I guess since Tom's been known to assume other screen names to post at various sites, they think that Chris is just another variation of this! While we all know that they are, in fact, two different people, the best evidence I can muster is that Tom won't let me on his site, while Chris has no issue with me being on his! Case closed! lol

On a post here at the start of June I begged Dennis to get her some help.

Sadly, we both know Dennis doesn't give a damn. I hoped he had at least one decent bone in his body, but then I remembered...jellyfish don't have bones (or shame for that matter).

Yeah no worries Mr B, I'm glad you brought me up to speed- otherwise I might still be trying to convince her of what she is saying. Hopefully she gets what she needs.

On the same topic but, it seems that everyone on DK's page shares her convictions when it comes to Dennis' wild claims. I don't know who Z is, so maybe it will all blow up in my face, however before I start claiming I do and start shouting from the rooftops, I'd want a little more actual evidence than what he's claiming is a prosecutor's dream..
