Interesting find, but I always thought The Red Phantom was an angry feminist, not the Zodiac, and here we have someone deriding Marco and Marco labeling the writer "The Red Phantom". Sounds like the 1974 letter writer was the same person, and got their name from Marco. Looks like the two just were at odds.

Count Marco (Marc H. Spinelli) worked at the Chronicle in 1962. Still, very strange.
