Scar on thumb or forefinger?
Just an observation, but from the Stine prints, was it ever verified that there was a prominent scar on what appears to be either the thumb or forefinger.

Where was it even claimed that such a scar was present?

Re: Scar on thumb or forefinger?
Reason I was asking, found an interesting similarity between my poi's thumb print and the Stine print

Notice the diagonal line (scar?) on Stine photo on right, with vertical line midway through diagonal. My poi's print on left has same diagonal/vertical pattern.

Yes, marines and merchant marines, that's why the print says seaman's thumb print.

Excellent point, jackiac:-). Please, exist some identification of this "seaman", or is for us unknown man? His fingerprints (scar and form) are very very similar with P.L. Stine crime scene thumbsprints... Sorry to my English, thanks..:-)
Re: Scar on thumb or forefinger?
Sure that's a scar and not some anomaly in the way the print was left/lifted?

Bently: your point is taken, if the anomoly appeared on just one of the prints I'd say definitely. What has piqued my interest is the similarity of the patterns on the two separate prints; there is no denying the pattern. The odds of two prints having the same anomoly I would say would be slim. I am by no means a forensic or print specialist and of course the fbi original prints vs. my pois original foia file would definitely need to be compared. I am just wondering if this "anomoly" just might be something more significant, to possibly tie us to zodiac.

Bob: I do not want to post my poi's name on any public forums at this time. Law enforcement has received my files on this individual and has expressed an interest. The man has family that is still alive, and unless he is confirmed as the Zodiac, I will not post his name. Suffice it to say, he lived in SF, worked near where Stine picked up Zodiac, worked as a delivery driver in the bay area for many years, and spent some time in Mare Island prison. That's all I care to say at this time.
