Re: Analysis of AK Wilks' Caesar shift method
Where's AK posting this stuff? Is it one of those invitation only boards?
Re: Analysis of AK Wilks' Caesar shift method
Much of it comes from http://zodiackillersite.forummotion.com/ which is invitation only.
AK often cross-posts on unazod.com, which is where the excerpt I posted comes from. I think it is open to anyone.

Thank you. I had seen that zodiackillersite but never attempted to register.

I'd like to say it's worthwhile, but it's far more frustrating than helpful from my experience. It's nice in that there are people from all the different boards all in one place (more or less a collection of very nice people with a few notable exceptions). It's bad in that there is much POI discussion (though I don't believe the board is visible to non-members, so at least most of the names remain in house) and there tends to be too much senseless speculation.
Regardless, it's because of morf and AK's efforts that we have copies of a lot of the fake (or uncomfirmed) Zodiac letters, and for that they certainly deserve kudos.

Hey Dave,
Since we had such great success with Moby Dick, I was wondering how many of these names:
Leigh Allen
Rick Marshall
Dick Gaikowski
Jack Tarrance
G W Hendrickson
Michael O'Hare
Gareth Penn
Jack Beeman
George Hodel
Robert Hunter
Larry Kane
Peter O
Bob Barnett (Pseudonym for kicks)
J Chandler
Bruce Davis
William Grant
We can find by shifting and anagramming:
ILUEHSTHEOLHS
Do you still have that anagram shifter thing?

Doranchak,
I'd really like to be able to see a list of only the 216 perfectly bunched instances of TJK's name in the Unsolved 18. With the +/- numbers.
You've already done a lot of work, I know, but if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you do just this one last thing? Because there are 90,000 instances altogether and it would take me forever to find the 216 that I want to see! Thanks in advance if you can do this!

Re: Analysis of AK Wilks' Caesar shift method
Hi Jem,
Thanks for requesting Dave to do some work on the Teddy K stuff right after I asked Dave to try to do some Anti-Teddy K stuff.
Who would want to see Teddy K in perfect bunches except AK Wilks?
Are you AK Wilks?

Not to speak for him, but it appears that doranchak has ALREADY posted those 216 results. From this page here:
http://oranchak.com/zodiac/ak/6.html
doranchak wrote:If I look for THEODOREJKACZYNSKI in the string TEHIMIOHPERTTEEBEI, I find 90,720 total matches. That means there are 90,720 ways to find his name among the grids.
Of the 90,720 matches, 3,888 of them are closely bunched, with no more than one letter on the wrong side.
And of those 3,888, 216 are perfectly bunched, no letters appearing on the wrong side.
Therefore, any significance you've applied to ONE of those many possibilities is meaningless. How do you know your arbitrary selection is the correct one? Did you apply your numerology to all the other possibilities?
Here is the complete list of the 3,888 matches: http://oranchak.com/zodiac/ak-bunched.html
So, if you look at that link doranchak posted, a rather long list of 3,888 matches, the ones that are followed by:
theodorejkaczynski Counts: 0,0
Are the 216 perfectly bunched instances.

Don't forget ZK Gareth Sewell Penn which I found a couple of years ago.
Thanks Dave!
